ONDA Annual Meeting 2016

Pine Creek, looking good
We headed out to Hancock Field Station for the ONDA annual meeting in April.  A great time, as always.  Beautiful weather and great company, we cleared juniper along Pine Creek for this year's project.  The creek is looking really good. All of those projects over the years have helped, but the beaver are taking over the efforts now and it's really great to see that.

Paddling Lake Billy Chinook

Maria and William on Lake Billy Chinook
An eighty degree day in early April was a good excuse to load up the boats and head down to Lake Billy Chinook.  It was early enough in the year to avoid most of the motor boat yahoos and the desert is greening up - a perfect time for Cove Palisades State Park.  We paddled up the Deschutes Arm until we hit the incoming current.  Awesome canyon, tons of raptors, and a beautiful day.
