Heading north for Labor Day weekend

Columbia River Gorge from the Washington side
For the week leading up to Labor Day weekend we headed north in the camper, bound for Lake Wenatchee, Washington and a wedding.  With several free days and no itinerary, we explored some places we hadn't been in years.  Washington is great.  The weather had changed so we spent a fair amount of the trip east of the crest, on the dry side.  Still, even with clouds and some rain Mt Rainier is simply awesome.  Amazing stuff up there - glad to be living in the Pacific Northwest!!
