Finally got the camper out of the garage and headed up the McKenzie for the weekend.  Ken and I spent a night up at Scott Lake and then hiked Black Crater before meeting Maria, William, and the gang at Clear Lake.  The only other time I have hiked Black Crater was 1979 when I was a kid and went on a Sierra Club hike.  Amazing that it has been so long.  It is a good, quick hike.  Ken and I then visited Koosah Falls on the way home from Clear Lake.  I think I last saw Koosah Falls in the early 1990's.  All of these places are too close to home to see often, ironically.
