View from Panorama's Elkhorn Cabin |
Maria and I spent a couple of weeks on the road skiing. We hit Schweitzer (Sandpoint Idaho), Panorama (Invermere, BC), and Red Mountain (Rossland, BC). This was an opportunity to hit some places I have never seen - and revisit places I have not ben to in decades. It's a different world up there in BC - a different scale. Canal Flats, the head of the Columbia River, is always such a treat to pass through. The Columbia drainage is incredibly convoluted. It was nice to have the time to roam around the edges of our region.
