Tumalo Falls

William, Maria, myself, and seemingly half of Bend hiked, snowshoes, skied, and fat biked up to Tumalo Falls on this beautiful Christmas day.  On a day like today the crowds were expected and fun.  Hard to have a bad time on such a perfect winter bluebird day!

Chamber of commerce day here in Bend today.  We had a storm last week that dumped nearly two feet of snow in town. This was followed by a cold spell that kept most of it around.  Maria and I took advantage of a bluebird Sunday morning for a walk in Shevlin Park.  We are lucky to live a scant mile from this beautiful park; it is our backyard (and we don't even have to mow!) It is one of my favorite places any time of year.
