A healthy crop of juniper berries this year 

Maria and I hiked a bit of Badlands Wilderness this Sunday morning.  It was a cool, mostly sunny morning but windy and stormy in the Cascades so, instead of skiing, we opted for a walk.  We tried a loop in the northwest corner of the wilderness - fewer crowds.  Nothing spectacular, but very pleasant walking.  Nice to get out and stretch the legs and see some new trail.
