Veteran's Day Weekend in Yachats

We just returned from a three-day weekend in Yachats.  The weather was amazing, especially for November, and the summer crowds long gone.  I hiked from town to the top of Cape Perpetua and down to the visitor's center, enjoying temperatures in the mid 60's and no wind.  We also visited Devil's Churn and Smelt Sands State Park as well as some wandering around the town of Yachats.  Dense fog greeted our return to Eugene this afternoon.  Should have stayed a bit longer I suppose.
