As is our tradition in closing out summer, we spent several days last week camping at Waldo Lake.  This year, between mountain bike rides,  William and I squeezed in a kayak trip across the lake to the starting point of the North Fork of the Middle Fork of the Willamette River.  The shot above was taken as I slowly drifted downstream at the head of the river.  Really cool spot on a beautiful day.
