Middle Sister from near Sister Springs |
It has been 35 years since I hiked the Obsidian Trail. It was high time to revisit this well known entry point into the Three Sisters high country. Armed with a day permit we drove to Scott Lake, found a good place for the camper, and hiked up to Sister Springs/Obsidian Falls where we enjoyed a quiet lunch. We also enjoyed a beautiful night at Scott Lake and a "bonus" day hike the next day to Tenas Lakes. Fall is definitely in the air up here!
