Crater Lake

Crater Lake in the winter is a treat.  Especially so when the last few miles of road up to the rim are closed due to a recent blizzard.  We snow shoed up in the morning and, for a few hours, had the place virtually to ourselves.  We were treated to views of the lake - also a treat in February - and much lighter winds than the forecast suggested.  It was a special day for sure.
