Catalina Mountains and Saguaro National Park

Saguaro National Park

Each winter, I try to get away from the northwest for a long weekend in order to get some desert time.  This year it was a flight to Phoenix, a rental car, and a drive to Tucson to set up a base camp in the Catalina Mountains.  With four days of desert hiking and perfect mid-70's weather, it was a perfect trip.  Except for my camera, which for some reason was on some really weird settings, and my departing flight, which was delayed seven hours.  Oh well, totally worth it.
