Rebel Rock

Looking east from Rebel Rock up the South Fork McKenzie River

Ken and I hiked the five miles and 3,400' gain to the Rebel Rock lookout to spend a cold and very windy December night out.  Not much snow yet, hopefully soon.  It is gratifying to see the destruction from all the 1970's-80's clear-cut logging starting to soften up now.  Nice to see something in nature actually improving a little.
