Deschutes River and Mt Bachelor

It seems like a long time since we were last in central Oregon.  Luckily, despite having rented out our Bend house until later this month, we were able to use a friend's place in Sun River and continue our pre-holiday tradition of ginger bread building on the high desert.  We had a light dusting of snow and lots of sun, making for perfect conditions a weekend east of the mountains.  We are all looking forward to getting back into our house over there and, soon, up on the slopes.
