First Camping Trip of 2007
A windy, rainy day on the beach at Cape Lookout

Normally we make it out for a weekend or two of camping by this time, but circumstances this year have not allowed this. March 9-11 found us at Cape Lookout State Park on the northern Oregon coast, near Tillamook. It was mild, wet, and windy - but still great to get out. The obligatory Tillamook Creamery tour was enjoyed by all. Also spent some time at the Tillamook Air Museum in the WWII era blimp hangers of the former Naval Air Station Tillamook. The Whiskey Creek Cafe, near Cape Lookout SP and just down the road from the "house of razor wire" was a great find. Came home to 70+ sunny weather in Eugene Sunday. Oh well - always nice to hit the road.
